We, the undersigned, call on Minister Lucas to stop government cost cutting and treat Queensland’s Health Professionals fairly. We ask that Minister Lucas revise the Queensland Health pay increase offer of 2.5% - a real wages cut for our health professionals. We ask that Minister Lucas stop the proposal to cut funding for health professionals who work in regional Queensland. We call on Minister Lucas to intervene in negotiations for a new collective agreement for Health Professionals to ensure that these workers get a fair deal and Queenslanders get the better health services they deserve.
