Important info on AVACS

There is a ban on providing information to SSP as to who is participating in industrial action.

This means employees who participate in stopworks, strikes or any form of industrial action can refuse to fill out AVACS in respect of such industrial action. This refusal is protected industrial action.

Managers who are members of the union can refuse to fill out AVACS for their employees, managers who are members can refuse to advise QLD health who has or is participating in the industrial action.
